Broadway At the Ballpark
Ugh, the pandemic. Civic looked for original and safe ways to bring live entertainment to the community. On a beautiful summer evening, the theatre teamed up with the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball organization and staged a concert of Broadway show tunes at LMCU Ballpark.
Driveway Cabarets
Again, a pandemic-driven idea (that actually warranted a little writeup in the New York Times). Civic brought brought Broadway music into neighborhoods at a safe social distance on the driveway or, in some cases, in a shady front or backyard. It lifted the spirts of the performers and the neighborhood alike.
